Jesse Cortez is the Global Inclusion leader inside the office of Diversity for a large technology services organization.  In his role he is responsible for the company’s efforts to Accelerate Inclusion in the workplace.  He has led teams of regional Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) leaders across the globe  charged with creating an environment of Inclusion that allows everyone to succeed and bring their best to work.

Prior to this role, Jesse served as ‘Deputy’ Chief Diversity Officer for multiple business units inside a multi-national company, charged with all aspects of I&D, including talent acquisition, talent management and retention. Also, by providing a global perspective, governance and thought leadership for multiple programs, he leveraged a data driven approach to diagnosing/prescribing innovative solutions.  Other areas of focus included Persons with Disabilities and Ethnicity initiatives, as well as serving as a liaison between Diversity and Talent Acquisition on sourcing strategies.

Throughout his career, Jesse has been dedicated to talent and diversity, fostering an inclusive environment for people and companies to succeed. He has extensive corporate experience in leadership talent acquisition, large scale diversity initiatives and working with non-profit organizations for over 15 years. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Hispanic IT Executive Council (HITEC) and the Advisory Board for Disability:IN (formerly known as the US Business Leadership Network or USBLN).  He is also a member of the STEM committee for Dallas-based SER National and frequently participates and contributes to a number of other partner organizations.

Originally from Chicago, Jesse now lives in the Dallas area with his wife, son and daughter.
